Am 25. März 1821 begann der griechische Unabhängigkeitskrieg gegen die osmanische Fremdherrschaft. Zum 200-Jahr-Jubiläum findet eine Militärparade im Zentrum Athens statt – mit Vertretern der damaligen Partnerländer Russland, Frankreich und Großbritannien, aber wegen Covid-19 unter Ausschluss der breiteren Öffentlichkeit.
